The Walther PL71r impresses with its power and programmable functions. You can use the sliding focus with escapement to adjust the distribution of the maximum possible 1800 lumens. With the 6 pre-selectable switching schemes, you are well prepared for every situation, and the Code 144 programmability allows you to easily choose how you want to use the four brightness levels (100, 40 and 10 percent as well as the moon mode). Optionally, with the 10 percent level and the moon mode, you can also use the boost on demand, which brings the PL71r to 1000 lumens with a double click. The moon mode produces a strongly dimmed 10 lumen light that is ideal for reading in a tent, for example. In addition to the Tactical Defense Strobe, you have a position light (beacon) at your side, which flashes at 2-second intervals to draw your attention.
