Konustar-11 is a quality compass that contains many useful options. The basis for everything is an all-metal aluminum alloy casing. A liquid compass is mounted on the body, the interior of which is filled with a special liquid, which contributes to the rapid stabilization of the arrow. Inside the compass there is a dial with fluorescent markings that glow in the dark. A collar is placed on the body, azimuths are applied in two directions. On the main panel there are two scales: in degrees and miles, with a division value of 2° and 40 cm. The compass has a hinged cover into which a transparent lens with a cross scale is inserted. It will allow you to determine the distance to the object using a table located at the bottom of the body. Between the compass and the top cover there is a folding protractor – a device that will allow you to determine the angle of inclination of various objects. The measurement range is from 0 to 90 degrees. On one side of the casing sections a line length of 15 cm is applied, on the other – the distance in meters in 1: 25000 to determine distances on a map. At the base there is a connector for attaching the compass to a tripod. The coil diameter is 1/4 inch. To ensure correct installation of the compass and to obtain accurate results, a spirit level is provided in the case.
Metal hinge is attached to the case to secure the compass and prevent loss. The compass can be used in closed form due to the presence of a hole with a lens through which the compass readings are visible.
